Dubrovnik, Croatia - 10 September 2016 Dubrovnik is a historic Croatian city on the Adriatic Sea, in the region of Dalmatia. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Mediterranean Sea, a busy seaport and the centre of Dubrovnik-Neretva County. Today, the beautiful Old Town is surrounded by stunningly preserved defensive walls, and contains many notable historic churches, museums, palaces and monasteries. This historic legacy, combines with a beautiful climate and crystalline surrounding seas, is leading to its inundation by tourism. Its popularity has been further fostered by its use as a prominent filming location for Game of Thrones, where it features as parts of Kings Landing.
