As contingency construction crew training advance base lead instructor for Naval Construction Group One (NCG-1) from October 2020 to January 2024, Petty Officer Becerra flawlessly led 10 instructors in the delivery of 2,100 contact hours of instruction to 350 students and dedicated 80 hours of formal course review to four contingency construction crew training curriculums, resulting in a 100% pass rate and zero safety mishaps. As lead evaluator for eight field training exercises, he masterfully led the evaluation of 16 advanced base sites resulting in force-wide major combat operation certifications for eight subordinate units. Petty Officer Becerra’s exceptional professionalism, unwavering perseverance, and loyal dedication to duty reflected credit upon him, upholding the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service.
