PEARL HARBOR (Jan. 27, 2016) Family members and military guests of the late Pearl Harbor survivor Coxswain John S. Pidcock attend an ash-scattering ceremony at the USS Utah Memorial on Ford Island, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Pidcock was stationed aboard the USS Tangier (AV-8) during the 1941 Japanese attacks on Pearl Harbor. His ashes, along with his wife Bonnie’s ashes, joined the remains of the Sailors still aboard USS Utah, which was sunk during the 1941 attacks.
