The Bomber Command Memorial in Green Park, London. This memorial is to the Men and Women of Royal Air Force Bomber Command. At the centre is a sculpture by Philip Jackson of a crew of 7 returning from a bomber operation. The memorial was unveilied by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in Green Park, London. Poppies were dropped by the Avro Lancaster Bomber PA474 of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight based at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire.
