Martian landscape. This HiRISE image shows landforms on the surface of Mars. Nili Fossae is often on the short-list for potential landing sites for exploration, usually due to the interesting minerals that have been detected here. This observation is to search for possible clays along a fracture in the eastern region of Nili Fossae, which is a large group of concentric grabens located near the Isidis impact basin in the Northern Hemisphere of Mars.
