Just here evolution has proved a trifleweak in its workings. This is one of our summer resident warblers thatwe may confidently expect to see, but there seems tobe a good deal of variance in the opinions of bird-men as to its coming and going. It is stated to beextremely sensitive to cold, and the opposite opinionhas also been expressed. This sensitiveness, if afact, does not actually drive the bird away. I have.
