He attended college inDublin for some time and then wasassigned to a mission at Shan-non, where he both taught scliool andpreached. Here he had one of thelargest revivals of that day. At thistime the Irish famine came and hewas put in charge of the distributionof .food by the commission. His nextIrish charges were Lisburne, Lucon,and Newton Limavady. He thenfollowed his parents to Bloomington, Illinois. He arrived in America after the session of Conference, but took workunder Rev. Mr. B
