Louis-Michel Lepeletier (Louis-Michel Lepeletier de Saint-Fargeau) (1760-1793), Marquis of Saint-Fargeau. French jurist and politician. On 16 May 1789 he was elected deputy for the nobility of Paris to the Estates General of 1789. In the National Constituent Assembly, Lepeletier moved the abolition of the death penalty, the galley sentence and branding with a hot iron.
