The mid-day meal scheme is a school meal program of the Government of India designed to better the nutritional standing of school-age children nationwide. Rural school students at the India-Bangladesh border eat rice with soybean at mid-day, and at the end of the meal they wash their hands and plates by pressing the tubules.
