Rinchenia oviraptorid dinosaur egg fossils. Oviraptorids are is a group of bird-like, herbivorous and omnivorous dinosaurs. They are known for their toothless, parrot-like beaks and showy crests. Rinchenia was a small oviraptorid, estimated at metres and a body mass of about 25 kilograms. It lived in what is now Mongolia during the Late Cretaceous period, around 70 million years ago.
