Brad Dandurand. The team of workers diagnosed and repaired the emergency diesel power generator behind the main hospital in Banda Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia. The hospital was flooded in over four feet of water during the Tsunami that struck December 26, 2004, which shorted all electrical power to the hospital. Repairing the generator enabled the hospital to get up and running again, and tremendously aid in the tending of patients. The USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) Carrier Strike Group is currently operating in the Indian Ocean off the waters of Indonesia and Thailand in support of Operation Unified Assistance.
