Double White NarcissusâN. a form of N. fl. solitary (rarely 2). fragrant, wide open, the obovate overlapping segments white, the very short, yellowish corona much crisped and red-edged. Mediterranean region. âAn old favorite, recognized bv the red-mar- gined, short corona. A double form of this (Fig. 1462) is a pure white, a rare color amongst double narcissi. Var. radiiJldrus, Burbidge (If. radiifldrus, Salisb.). More slender and Ivs. narrower: corona narrower and more erect: segments narrowed below so that they do not overlap.
