Mongolian on Camel with Praying Machine
From Wonderland or Curiosities of Nature and Art published in 1901. An instrument with a wheel on which prayers are pasted by Buddhist priests, the wheel is turned by a handle & each turn is supposed to be the equivalent of an oral repetition of all the prayers on the wheel. There is also a legend that it gives access to the Mongolian Dragon Cave, the secret retreat of the Sacred Dragon.
