Henry Tudor, later Henry VIII, (1491 – 1547) was the Duke of York in his childhood and delivered to the Archbishop to study to become a cleric. Henry VIII was King of England from 21 April 1509 until his death and was the second Tudor monarch, succeeding his father, Henry VII.
