Golden Dart-Poison Frogs (Colostethus beebei) are small, brightly colored tree frogs that live their entire lives (about 5-7 years) inside the cloud forest's bromeliads (Brocchinia micrantha) It is only species of its genus known to be a bromeliad specialist. It breeds in the water-filled leaf axils, or tanks, of the giant terrestrial bromeliad which grow in humus caught in rock crevices in proximity to Kaieteur Falls. Brocchinia micrantha may reach meters in height. #text=All
