Either side of the forte struck with the signature "MEFECIT SOLINGEN" within the deep fuller. Richly pierced cup with engraved floral design, one old repair in the brass solder. S-shaped quillons with knuckle-guard, grip with copper wire wrap and Turk's heads. Chiselled, round pommel.
