As long asthe desired change can be produced, the red hair turneddark or the dark hair made blonde, the ardent vanityof women will lead them to resort to the use of suchpreparations as they believe will accomplish the desiredresult. The most we can do is to point out the dangersof using poisonous preparations, and give directionsfor using those least injurious to the hair. All thepreparations of lead, copper and bismuth are poisonousand dangerous.
