Stibnite mineral. Stibnite, also called antimonite, is a sulphide of the element antimony. It forms grey, needle-like crystals that sometimes form into rosettes, as seen at left. It is mined as a source of antimony, which is used in the electronics industry. This sample measures 115 millimetres across.
