An early portrait of celebrated music hall star Harry Lauder. --- Sir Henry Lauder (1870 – 1950) was an internationally known Scottish singer and comedian who was popular in both music hall and vaudevillian theatre. He was particularly known for his performances of "Roamin' in the Gloamin", "A Wee Deoch-an-Doris" , "I Love a Lassie "& keep right on to "The End of the Road", which he generally performed in Scottish Highland dress, complete with kilt of the clan Mackay tartan.
