The stalks are ver}' solid, brittle, and of most delicious celer}' flavor, and when properly grown it is entirely free from stringiness. It is a verj- desirable celery for the market gardener, as it is a remarkably good keeper, and when btmched ready for market presents a handsome appear- ance.
