Durdle Door sea arch, aerial photograph. View of the eastern side of Durdle Door on the Dorset coast, England. This landform is the product of coastal erosion where less resistant rock has been eroded to leave a promontory of more resistant rock. The arch has formed from a hole at a weak spot in the promontory and will eventually collapse to form a stack.
