'Anemone' sculpture created in 2009 by Anton James, Barangaroo, Sydney, NSW, Australia. Four of the 'shapes' conceal vents from a basement carpark.

Public street art in the form of an installation called 'Anemone', Sydney, NSW, Australia. The Barangaroo district of Darling Harbour, Sydney has become a major public art destination. Outside the distinctive Macquarie Bank on Shelley Street at King Street Wharf, is a cluster of what seem to be enormous pottery bowls. They are 'Anenome', created in 2009 by Anton James of James Mather Delaney Design, Redfern, Sydney. 'Anenome' consists of four white and red tiled vessels whose organic shape and size contrast with a simple 9m-high stainless steel column. Four of the five shapes conceal exhaust vents from the basement carpark below.
