Congressman Earl “Buddy” Carter, the Representative serving Georgia’s 1st District, is briefed on the capabilities of the M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank by 2nd Lt. Jerome Blain, a tank platoon leader with Company C, 3rd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment at Fort Stewart, Georgia Nov. 30. Carter observed 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division Soldiers shoot tank and Bradley gunnery during his visit to see how the brigade generates readiness and ensures they are prepared to deploy anywhere in the world in support of combat operations.
