GULF OF OMAN (April 15, 2022) Senior Chief Gas Turbine Systems Technician Ginai Little, left, Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) coordinator, Cmdr. Meghan Bodnar, middle, commanding officer, and Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Jessica Hulett, SAPR Victims Advocate (VA), cut a Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) cake on the mess decks aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Gridley (DDG 101) during a SAPR awareness event in the Gulf of Oman, April 15. Gridley is deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations to help ensure maritime security in the Middle East region.
