Yellow Loosestrife (Lysimachia punctata)
This herbaceous perennial has lance-shaped mid-green leaves. Upright stems of bright yellow, star-shaped flowers are produced during summer. The flowers are arranged in whorls around the flower stalks. Lysimachia punctata spreads by swollen underground stems (rhizomes), it can be an invasive plant.
