Several able and efficient members of the Topo-graphical corps were at once detailed to the service of the Com-pany, among whom were Captain William Gibbs McNeill, Lieu-tenants Joshua Barney, Isaac Trimble, (now the efficient Su-perintendent of the Philadelphia, Wilmington and BaltimoreRail Road,) Richard E.
