A mixed flock of several thousand thrush species stop off to feed up on mountain ash and hawthorn berries near the Elan Valley. the flock was made up of Mainly Fieldfare [Turdus pilaris] and redwing [Turdus iliacus] with some mistle thrush mixed in also accompanied by a few starlings.
