A pseudo-Corinthian helmet, end of the 6th/ 1st half of the 5th century Bronze with brownish patina. High, clearly set-off skull, with a strongly contured brow bow. Small eye cutouts and a short, cutout nose-guard. Completely closed cheek pieces. Flanged neck guard with preserved loop. Remnants of a riveted crest holder on the crown. Profuse engraved decor. An attacking boar is depicted on each cheek piece. The nape of the neck displays a sphinx, a boar, a lion and a mythical creature. On the neck guard another boar.
