James Dunn, commodore of Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON) 8, cut a ceremonial cake for a Thanksgiving celebration Nov. 22, 2018. Iwo Jima is currently underway after participating in Trident Juncture 2018 which is a NATO-led exercise designed to certify NATO response forces and develop interoperability among participating NATO Allied and partner nations.
