Lychees, or lichu from Kalipur village of Chittagong are second to the lychees of Rajshahi, in popularity. Farmers bring the lychees at Kalipur bazaar from where buyers and suppliers collect them. The lychees are sold for Tk. 100 to 130 per hundred. Chittagong, Bangladesh. May 16, 2009.
