The Texas Court of Civil Appeals has handed down a decision affecting the liability of a corporation for claimed breach of a contract relating to a sale of onion sets (Chicago Set & Seed Co. versus Texas Seed & Floral Co. and Robinson Seed & Plant Co., 187 South- western Reporter, 747). The Robinson company, in 1911, agreed to buy 2,000 bushels of onion sets from the Chicago company, under a written contract, whereby the latter agreed to grow and to hold for ship- ment to the former the stated quantity of dark red, yellow and white onion sets, at $, $ and $ per bushel, respectively.
