Remember now, O Lord, Ibeseech thee, how I have walked before theein truth and with a perfect heart, and havedone that tvhich is good in thy sight. AndHezekiah wept sore. 4 IT Then came the word of the Lord toIsaiah, saying, 5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith theLord, the God of David thy father, I haveheard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: be-hold, I will add unto thy days fifteen * Thus saith the Lord 794 1 have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears.—/^a. xxxviii. 6 And I will deliver thee and this city outof the hand of the king of Assyria: and Iwill defend this city. 7 And this shall he a sign unto thee fromthe Lord, that the Lord will do this thingthat he hath spoken; 8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow ofthe degrees, which is gone down in the sun-dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So thesun returned ten degrees, by which degreesit was gone down. 9 IT The writing of Hezekiah king of Judah,when he had been sick, and was recovered ofhis sickness: 10 I said in the cutting off of my days, Ishall go to the gates of the grave: I am de-prived of the residue of my years. Ill said, I shall not see the Lord, even theLord, in the land of the living: I shall beholdman no more with the inhabitants of theworld. 12 Mine age is departed, and is removedfrom me as a shepherds tent: I
