Executions at Wexford Bridge, 20 June 1798. Thomas Dixon and followers massacred mostly loyalist prisoners on the bridge in Wexford town, during the Irish Rebellion of 1798. The act was condemned by returning rebel commanders who were in turn later executed on the bridge by the British after they had recaptured Wexford.
