This is by far the best in quality of all the Lima Beans. The pods of this variety are shorter than of the others, but tilled so well that they al- most burst. It is a true Bush Lima, growing about eighteen inches high, and is considerable earlier than Burpee's. These are not quite as large as the large white Lima Bean, but are more desirable because they are earrier. Pkt. 5c ; pt. 15c; qt. 25c. King- of the Garden. A little later, but large pods and beans ; very productive. Pkt. 5c; pt. 15c; qt. 25c POLE BEANS. Pole beans should be planted about two weeks later than bush beans, in sandy soil, if possible, well enriched, with manure in the hill. Plant about 3 to 4 ft. apart, and 5 or 6 beans in a hill. Golden Cluster. This is very early and remains tender even after the beans have at- tained considerable size. The pods are beauti- fully waxey and yellow, and borne in great profusion. Lazy Wife's A popular late variety, im- mensely productive medium dark green pods, broad, thick, fleshy and stringless, retaining their excellent qualities until nearly ripe. The pods contain six to eight round white beans which are also very good for winter soup beans.
