President George W. Bush met with former Senator Bob Dole and Donna Shalala former Secretary of Health and Human Services in the Clinton administration in the Oval office of the White House after naming them to co-chair a bipartisan commission that will examine the care that wounded troops receive after they return from the battlefield. The new commission is one more high-level investigation to begin following recent revelations of bureaucratic woes facing veterans at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
