The Bougainvillea is supported with its vines up the walls in a small town of Sirmione on the southern tip of Lake Garda in the province of Brescia of northern Italy. Bougainvillea is a group of thorny ornamental vines, bushes or trees belonging to the four o' clock family, Nyctaginaceae.
