If all three magazines are not required for body founts, one of themagazines can be equipped with three, four, five, or six founts ofdisplay capitals, for the setting of headlines, etc., according to thedisplay equipment required. Model 4 Linotype with Latest Improvements. If additional type faces are required,,extra magazines equipped with thenecessary faces can quickly be substituted for those on the machine. Tabular matter is set on thismachine as well as ordinary runon matter and headlines. It prOduces leaded matter as readily assolid matter, and also casts borders,,clumps, and other decorative andmakeUp material. A change from one magazine toanother is simple and rapid; theoperator makes the change in afew seconds without moving fromhis seat.
