Boxer, Comstock and New Orleans, all ships of Amphibious Squadron 5, are returning to their homeport of San Diego after a deployment to the 5th Fleet area of responsibility. The Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and the embarked 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (13th MEU) are returning from a seven-month deployment supporting global maritime security.
