The Jockey Morris Men of Birmingham dance in the first sunrise on the first day of May at Lickey Hills Country Park, Birmingham.

The Jockey Morris Men of Birmingham dance in sunrise on the first day of May at Lickey Hills Country Park, Birmingham. It is believed the Morris men take their name from Gwen Johnson who lived in Jockey Road and created the side in 1949. The rosettes are taken from the Sutton Rose motif and the Blue Baldricks are from the colour associated with the City of Birmingham. Lickey Hills is the highest Point south of Birmingham and overlooks the Longbridge site of MG cars.
