EASTERN COAST OKINAWA (Feb. 19, 2016) – Marines, assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) run to the foul line of amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown’s (LSD 42) flight deck after loading cargo into a CH-53 Sea Stallion helicopter. Germantown is assigned to the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and is participating in a certification exercise (CERTEX) with the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU). She is scheduled to join amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) and amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48)
