An absolute masterpiece of Russian architecture is the Church of the Intercession on the Nerl. A rare monument of architecture of the pre-Mongol period. The church has beeen photographed at sunset in the summer. A rather unusual shot, it is usually preferred to be shoot it in spring or autumn - on "high water", and from another facade. Here, the reflection of the church in the remains of the Nerl is not so spectacular, but the successful light and shape of the clouds, as well as the juicy summer green of the foreground, justify this decision of the photographer, and the picture turns out to be quite non-standard.
