Temporary windbreak and pest protection around vegetable plants. It has partially collapsed during strong winds and needs repositioning.

Temporary enclosure surrounding vegetables with a wall of 'Veggiemesh' roofed with soft butterfly netting and supported by uprights of aluminium poles. It has been partially collapsed by strong winds as the thin aluminium poles pushed into the soil did not have enough purchase against the soft soil to resist the wind pressure on the fine mesh. The structure is in need of repositioning. Veggiemesh® is advertised as keeping out a wide range of garden pests including cabbage root fly, carrot fly, cabbage white butterfly, pea moth, leek moth, cutworm, onion fly, leaf miners and many species of aphids and is made from stabilised polyethylene.
