Let usthank God for the long life he permitted this servant of his tolive — that for thirty years he was permitted to be engaged inthat most important work, the training of young minds, and forthirty more years in directing souls in the way of eternal life;that for more than fifty years he was permitted to live in happymarriage, and that ten children were permitted to call him good constitution, well preserved, and going to pieces onlywhen no longer needed, is something to be thankful for.
