Dallas, USA. 08th July, 2017. Firemen work 6 alarm blaze. A several alarm fire could be seen 25 miles away. The temperatures were in the high 90s with heat indexes in triple digits. The first has been burning since mid morning and has been upgraded to a 6 alarm fire. The heat and humidity is in the mid 90-degree F range with heat indexes over 100. The smoke was so thick, it just hung in the air and firemen were already wearing respirators and using air packs, especially on the ladder trucks where they were using three aerial ladders to pour large volumns of water on the blaze from above. There are a couple of images of firemen in the smoke and when seen at 100-percent, the expression on a young African American fireman pretty well says it all for the conditions that all the firemen were enduring. These are the images that capture so much emotion.
