Vaughan House with Guildford Workman's Home & Coffee Palace sign on wall in Guildford, Surrey, England, UK, former Church Army hostel

This building is Vaughan House. It was formerly a Church Army hostel, and known originally as the Guildford Workman’s Home and Coffee Palace. Vaughan House is now part of Riverside ECHG’s network of more than 70 hostels throughout the country, and continues the tradition of care and support for 47 homeless people, helping them to make a fresh start and, where possible to find somewhere to live, a job and resettle into the community
