Drivers face freezing fog on the A14 north of Cambridge on 22nd January 2013. The temperature plunged to minus 8 degrees centigrade overnight in rural areas bringing thick freezing fog in addition to the icy road conditions. Minor roads remain treacherous but the main routes were well treated. Traffic was slow and commuters faced longer journey times.
