The highly visible, 100-story John Hancock Building, completed in 1968, rises in stark contrast to other near north side architecture, such as the Bush Temple of Music Building (left Foreground), built in 1901, a less well-know landmark structure in the city. The Hancock Building remains one of the tallest buildings in the world, though now is the third highest in the city, behind the Willis Tower (Sears Tower) and Trump Tower.
