Relief of Shapur I, Naqsh-i-Rustam, Iran. This relief commemorates the victory of the Sasanian Persian King Shapur I over the Roman Emperor Valerian, who Shapur took prisoner, in 260. Valerian is depicted kneeling before the mounted figure of Shapur.
