Flattened image of an Attic red - figure column krater depicting 2 youths on either side of a pillar, or herm, with a bearded face and a propitiatory phallus or, ithyphallic herm. The phallus was a symbol of fertility, and often depicted as ithyphallic, that is, with an erect krater is an exhibit at the Archaeological Museum in Palermo, Sicily. Porco painter 470 - 460BC.
