Hithertocurrent for these lines had to be purchased from local power have been provided at Clapham, Streatham, Brixtonroad,Elephant and Castle, Camberwell, New Cross and Green-wich. Other sub-stations are now in course of erection. The Greenwich sub-station is part of the site of the gener-ating station and adjacent to the first portion of it.
